Upon graduation from Eastern
Kentucky University, taught history and coached basketball at
the high school level for 8 years before entering the banking
profession.

Serves as President, Chief
Executive Officer and Board Member of Commonwealth Bank in Mt.
Sterling Kentucky for over 20 years.

During the same time period,
has served on the Montgomery County Industrial Authority Board
and presently serves as Chairman of the Board.

Serves as a Sunday school
teacher and a deacon at the Gateway Christian Church in Mt.
Sterling.

Is a motivational speaker in
various banking schools in Kentucky for over 15 years speaking
and teaching on the topics of “Effective Leadership”, “Ethics in
Banking and Business” and “Being A Builder of Communities.”

A civil war historian and
author of the book entitled The
Character and Faith of Robert E. Lee.

Presently publishing a
“Character Calendar” on Robert E. Lee and has recently completed
a book on Stonewall Jackson.

Married to the former Ann
Ishmael of Mt. Sterling.

Father of 4 adult children-
Chris, Mary Ann, Mark and Ryan.
